Nitawin has 3 Phases of the 45 units.

Why are there Phases?

Phase 1 are the newest units that were built.

Phase 2 are the units that were also built earlier.

Phase 3 are the units that were bought (oldest).

Our Mission

Nitawin was incorporated in 1986.  Our mission is to provide good quality housing to low and moderate income of First Nation families.  We have 35 Houses and 2 five plexes with a total of 45 units.  We have two sources of income to pay for our operating expenses, rental charge and a subsidy provided by CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation). 

We have a legal agreement with the government which sets out rules and regulations as to how we operate.
